Installs, maintains and repairs piping, ducting and equipment for heating, cooling and ventilation of buildings or vessels. Registration or licensing is required.
ANZSCO skill level 3
Skill level 3 The general level is AQF Certificate IV, or Certificate III with at least two years of workplace training. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute within the classification, and some occupations require additional experience or training. Check the individual occupation and the assessing authority’s rules before relying on a substitution.

- installing, maintaining and repairing gas mains, piping systems downstream of the billing meter, and appliances and ancillary equipment associated with the use of fuel gases
