Skill level 3 The general level is AQF Certificate IV, or Certificate III with at least two years of workplace training. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute within the classification, and some occupations require additional experience or training. - fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers, shelves and other associated hardware
- making frames for chairs and couches
- may make reproduction furniture
- may repair and refurbish furniture including antiques
